This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition is one of the most documented classic cars we have ever had on our showroom floor. Its original owner purchased it here, kept it for more than four decades, and traded it in on a new Corvette in 2024. We are proud to offer it on consignment for its second owner.

The Collector Edition was Chevrolet's one year only send-off for the C3 Corvette, and just 6,759 were built. It came only one way: Silver Beige paint over Silver Beige leather with graduated hood and side graphics, bronze-tinted glass roof panels, turbine wheels styled after the 1967 bolt-ons, and the first opening rear hatch ever fitted to a Corvette. This car wears its original color combination and shows 34,942 miles, with the original Cross-Fire Injection 350 V8 and 4-speed automatic.

The service file spans the car's whole life, with records from Chevrolet dealerships and reputable independent shops along with our own repair orders, including one from the original owner before the trade. Recent documented work includes four new Cooper Cobra radials in the factory size, new shocks at all four corners, new belts, both brake hoses, a new U-joint, a four wheel alignment, a fresh oil service in June 2026, and an air conditioning conversion to R134a that blows cold.

The car is original and well kept. The driver's seat shows some bolster wear and there is a small paint blemish near the left taillight. Both are photographed in the gallery, so what you see is what you get.
